Pork belly and dumplings on the move

Since "Me, Me!" is just what you're going to be shouting while waiting in line for their modern take on Chinese cuisine, the Brookline-bred sibling trio behind the yellow & blue logo'd mobile eatery opted instead for Mei Mei, which means "Little Sister" in Chinese, and "you're now going to be able to eat mad dumplings on the move" in Bostonian.

All the food is hyper-locally sourced (they even mention the farms used on the menu board) with opening-week highlights including 10hr braised beef & cheese dumplings w/ a soy-vinegar sauce; a potato-kohlrabi salad with homemade mayo; and a Chinese-spiced pork mac n’ cheese that's described as "red-cooked" -- so expect everyone to enjoy it equally. As the menu's seasonal and rotating, anticipate other deliciousness in the next few weeks like a crispy crackling, steamed pork belly bun sided w/ local apple hoisin sauce, sesame chili aioli, and pickles, or smoked short rib dumplings with a celeriac puree, and watermelon radish that's shaved (hey, they said it was a modern take).

Meanwhile, to satiate your thirst/ sweet tooth, MMSK's throwing in gratis opening-week French green tea macaroons with each order, baking five-spiced fudge brownies, and pouring a seasonal lineup of bevvies like watermelon & ginger lemonades, and crimson berry iced tea so good, come Summer you'll find yourself impatiently waiting in line shouting, "Tea, Tea!".
